Pizza & Beer

This weekend was a blast!  Although, I have a room full of laundry to do and a messy house to clean, we had a great weekend.

Every morning we woke up and went on a bike ride. Which was an awesome feeling, plus we were able to start our day so much earlier.

Yesturday, we went for a 2.2 mile ride..  I know it doesn’t sound like allot, but  it’s better than not doing anything physical. The girls love it soo much.  My dad had called later that day, and asked if we wanted to come over for some pizza and beer. Like, I would say no! My two favorite things!

We hadn’t gone over there in a few weeks because the girls were sick.. and we try not to spread our germs.. well it least to people we know. We are selective germ spreaders! =)

Anyways… lots of pictures on this post..  Mostly because Sam is still working in OC and likes to look at all the pics…  I don’t want him to feel lonely! =)

When we got there Jacquelyn wanted grandma to make tortillas.. So grandma gave Jacquelyn a pre-made tortilla to work with.  She loved it.

So if your wondering why so many pictures in the sun.. I was trying to get some great lens flare. It’s still a work in process.

Yesterday’s Hike

Early … well 7:30am early.. us girls (myself, Jacquelyn and London) met my dad up at his usual spot for a little hike.  We saw lots of quail and lizards on the hike. My dad had even saw a coyote on his way to meet us.  Anyways, we had a nice time,Jacquelyn had a huge smile, this is definitely one of her favorite things.

As we were heading back, Jacquelyn stumpled and fell and hit her mouth. Now she has a huge fat lip and I think a tooth might be loose! Poor thing.. but she handled it well.

After our hike, my mom made breakfast and me and girls went to OC to see Sam, Twink & Mike.

If you are ever in the mood for shrimp tacos .. Twink makes some that are very yummy!  =)

Lazy Day

It’s been a laid back Saturday! Sam went on a bid in the morning, then we went to the show to watch Dark Knight. We came back BBQ and are not just chillin. Took a few photos…

Every morning, since we have been staying at parents, we feed the birdes. We place wildbird see on the retaining wall. The mix has several different types of seeds.. one of them being sunflower. So, look what sprouted one morning.

Carlsbad Beach

We escaped the heat on Sunday and went down to Carlsbad. We’ve only been down to the beach a few times and Jacquelyn has always seemed to enjoy it, except this time… “my feet dirty”.. that’s all she kept saying! Then we went down to Solona Beach to the Farmer’s Market. Anyways, while we were down there we saw the DelMar fair - anyone wanna go? Here are some photos of the beach and here are some photos taken from the Farmer’s Market .

Past Week - Memorial Weekend

Hey Everyone! Gosh, it feels like forever since I posted! For some reason I seem to be much busier these days… I wonder why? Hmmm =) Thought I would share some photos from this last week.

Last Saturday, I officially went back to work (the paying job). I had a wedding in Bakersfield, so Sam and London went with me, while Jacquelyn stayed with my mom for the day. It was definitely a long day; but I was able to get a few pics of Cheri (the bride) with London.

On Sunday, we were able to hang out with Dan and Kalani for a little bit, They drove down here, which made Jacquelyn sooo excited! She was screamin’ D A A A N N N N ! out the door. After they left we were supposed to go to my aunts for a BBQ, but we were so exhausted and I wasn’t feeling good so we decided to stay home. Good thing too, because Jacquelyn slept for 4 hours! Anyone with a two year old - knows how precious those 4 hours are for everyone!

Later in the week, we drove down to the OC for a few hours and were able to catch some lunch with Dan.

Okay, so there’s a photo that may look misplaced.. We were driving behind a sewage truck, when I noticed what it said on the back.. I thought it was funny.. =) .. Also, there is a photo of the Blimp hanger in Irvine.. it’s huge.. I wonder if they do tours..
