I wanted to share some more photos that we had taken at Rileys last Saturday. One of my favorites is this black and white one of our family. It was such a nice time… a little rough getting all 5 kids to cooperate.. but good times either way.
Can anyone tell which horse pictures Sam took???

Yup, that’s right! Jacquelyn started preschool this week! She is now attending the Goddard School.
For around six months Jacquelyn has been talking about going to school. In September we decided to take a tour of the school! For the last month that is all Jacquelyn has been talking about! Last Friday we enrolled her and she started on Monday!
So far she loves it! I knew that she wouldn’t be scared, because this is basically her choice… but I was curious to see how it went. On Monday, Sam and I took her to school, walked her to her class.. showed her where her cuby is.. and that’s all it took. We bascially had to insist that she waved goodbye to us.. she barely noticed that we left.
Here are some photos from her first day! taken with the point-n-shoot.

Yup, that was today. Jacquelyn missed her nap, I couldn’t get her to take one for hours! So, she was little less enthused in her swim class today.. but she still tried her hardest.
This picture of Sam and the girls was taken at Twinks this passed weekend.

London has such a sweet little voice… I thought I would share it.. Listen close…
But like all good things… there’s another side… Have you ever heard her SCREECH??? It’s very loud and unforgettable.. I’ll spare you that for another day!

Sam left early this morning to head back to OC. When Jacquelyn woke he had already left.. leaving her a little sad which can be seen in her swim class. She still did well but missing her little cheerful spark.
As soon as we leave she got out of her funk and went back to her happy self!
I took this picture of London yesturday .. (these pics were taken with our little point-n-shoot)

Hey everyone!
It’s been so long since I posted! Well we’ve been busy, we’ve been slow.. nothing major going on. BUT, London rolled over for the first time last week! Already at 3 months, I couldn’t believe it!
Well, as we all know the economy hasn’t been our friend lately. Sam has started his own company,
SunWise Solar Power but until it takes off completely, Sam will also be using his construction skills as being a
handyman. So if you are in need or know someone who is, give him a call.

*** Last week Jessica and Maddie came over to go swimming. She told me that they had been given tickets to the zoo and that they would share them with us! So, we each only had to pay for one ticket! What a deal! Thank you so much for doing this for us. We had a great time!
Okay so yesturday, we conquered the weekend crowds at the San Diego Zoo. We met my cousin Jessica, her husband Mike and there cutie pie daughter Maddy at the zoo. The morning was great, it was overcast and cool! I love mornings like that. Although, the morning was a perfect temperature, we managed to hit a little drama.
On the way to the zoo, Mike and Jessica had some car problems on the way, so they had to go back home and switch cars. Once we got into the park, we like everyone else, gathered around the Flamingos, to coordinate a plan of attack - what the best way to view the entire zoo? We decided on beginning with the bus tour, after purchasing our tickets and parking the strollers, we realized that Jacquelyn isn’t with us! I frantically look around seeing where she was and nothing. She gone! My heart was pounding, I/we have never “lost” her before! Sam quickly backtracks to where we were and found her at the flamingos calmly looking around and saying “mamas gone”. Thank goodness she was alright!
The rest of the day was smooth sailing, well as best as could be with a 2 1/2 year old, 1 1/2 year old and 2 month old.
If you are thinking about going to the San Diego Zoo, on October 2nd which is the parks 92nd anniversary there is FREE admission for everyone.

As many of you already know, Sam’s parents live in Alberta, Canada. Every summer, Scott (Sam's dad) rides his motorcycle down from Alberta to California making stops along the way visiting family and friends. Today, we were able to see him, first time since last Christmas. Sam was able to take a few photos of Scott meeting London for the first time.
