Awww… our little girl goes to preschool!

Yup, that’s right! Jacquelyn started preschool this week! She is now attending the Goddard School.

For around six months Jacquelyn has been talking about going to school.  In September we decided to take a tour of the school! For the last month that is all Jacquelyn has been talking about!  Last Friday we enrolled her and she started on Monday!

So far she loves it!  I knew that she wouldn’t be scared, because this is basically her choice… but I was curious to see how it went.  On Monday, Sam and I took her to school, walked her to her class.. showed her where her cuby is.. and that’s all it took. We bascially had to  insist that she waved goodbye to us.. she barely noticed that we left.

It’s Here….

Look what came in the mail, the American Girl catalog!   Jacquelyn just loves her Bitty Baby, she was soo excited to see all the accessories and outfits that can come with it!   I was surprised to see how much London actually loves the baby too.. she just watches Jacquelyn play with it and as soon as Jacquelyn puts it down she is all over it!

Here are some photos of the girls.. gawking over the catalog! Look at Jacquelyn’s big eyes and shes just starring at me with the Pretzel bag! She just can’t figure out why she can’t have them for breakfast, but “WHHY” she says!  I knew the “whhhhhy” stage would come, but I really thought I had a couple of years until it happened!

Love the photo of her eating her oatmeal.. I finally figured out how to get her to eat it, I mix blueberries, butter, sugar and soy-milk!  So, if I skipped the butter and sugar.. it might actually be considered healthy breakfast again! =)

One of those days…

Yup, that was today.  Jacquelyn missed her nap, I couldn’t get her to take one for hours!    So, she was little less enthused in her swim class today.. but she still tried her hardest.

I took these photos of the girls this morning. They love to lay on the ground together. Also got some photos of Jacquelyn doing one of her morning chores..  feeding Misty. She’s been doing this for around two weeks now and she has done awesome with it!

London’s little voice

London has such a sweet little voice… I thought I would share it.. Listen close…
But like all good things… there’s another side… Have you ever heard her SCREECH??? It’s very loud and unforgettable.. I’ll spare you that for another day! :)

My serious swimmer

Sam left early this morning to head back to OC.  When Jacquelyn woke he had already left.. leaving her a little sad which can be seen in her swim class.  She still did well but missing her little cheerful spark.

As soon as we leave she got out of her funk and went back to her happy self!

Pumpkin Picking

October 12, 2008 – 10:28 pm

We went to Riley’s Farm again on Saturday, this time to pick some pumpkins.  What a difference two weeks can make, it was much colder - with a high of 53!  We had a great time, Jacquelyn loved picking out the pumpkins and had a great time picking apples with Sam.  London was awesome, even though we left her diaper bag at home!  After we discovered that we took a little lunch break in Banning/Beaumont and got some formula and a bottle for the London and off we went back to Rileys. Jacquelyn enjoyed drinking a whole bottle of Root Beer by herself, I figured it would be okay because it was caffeine free than Sam kindly noted that it still has sugar in it! I’ll learn one of the these days! =) Lots of pics again!

1st Gymnastics Class

Early in the year we enrolled Jacquelyn in a Tap/Ballet class…   For whatever the reason Jacquelyn didn’t care for it.

We have been talking about enrolling her in a gymnastic class so Thursday I stopped by the dance studio and we tried out a class. Jacquelyn LOVED it! Friday was her first class, she had a blast!

Here’s a movie from her class.  This is my first time shooting and editing a movie.. It’s a little long.. but worth it! I really wish I had as much energy as Jacquelyn!
